London, 11 July 2024 – AdvantageGo, a leading commercial insurance and reinsurance software provider, part of Coforge, today announced a strategic alliance with FortifyData, a leading provider of cyber risk management solutions, to allow underwriters to better analyse cyber risks.

FortifyData’s platform is a cyber threat analysis tool that identifies and evaluates cyber risk exposures from direct assessments of organisations that produces a risk-based vulnerability view and security ratings for underwriting purposes.

An integration partnership with AdvantageGo’s Underwriting Workbench, cyber insurance underwriters will be offered FortifyData as a third party source of analytics, alongside information provided broker/client data, internal sources of data, and other third party inputs.

The partnership with FortifyData marks a first-of-its-kind integration achievement, layering ecosystem data providers offered through the new cyber-specific edition of AdvantageGo’s Underwriting Workbench, designed specifically to meet the needs of cyber underwriters.

FortifyData provides a forward-looking risk insight, building on other previously announced partnerships that deliver other elements, such as cyber loss data, or industry classifications, providing a layered approach for the cyber tailored edition of the Underwriting workbench.

The AdvantageGo  Ecosystem offers insurers the choice of leading best-of-breed technology providers through a single source to accelerate digitisation. The ecosystem delivers a comprehensive technology proposition through a single source to accelerate and digitise operations.

“It’s great news to announce this latest AdvantageGo Ecosystem partnership with FortifyData. Their threat analysis and mitigations insight provides a strong rationale to support the cyber underwriter’s risk and pricing decision-making process,” commented Ian Summers, Global Business Leader, AdvantageGo.

“The cyber security ratings provided by FortifyData are a best-of-breed insight for risk selection, pricing, as well as security and compliance control deficiencies. Furthermore, by integrating with other data inputs offered through our cyber Underwriting workbench, they offer cyber underwriters something greater than the sum of its parts,” Summers continued.

“This unique integration partnership is about generating insights, and going beyond the goal of digitising processes, towards providing a 360 degree risk view of the past, present and future for cyber underwriters,” Summers added.

Victor Gamra, CEO, FortifyData, commented: “It is exciting to be at the forefront with this shift in the insurance industry, where insurance providers are looking for more thorough and complete assessment data to help with better underwriting. I am looking forward to the industry adopting similar approaches as they look to better understand their risks, comprehensively, to reduce their own liability exposures.”
