Michael Hockney, MBE and Chairman of the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch Committee speaks about how proceeds from the curry lunch help fund 18 veterans a year to go through the Pain Management Programme at the King Edward VII’s Hospital. The residential programme is specifically designed to help veterans who have been suffering pain and trauma to receive the correct assessment, diagnosis and treatment. The aim is to assist veterans to boost their confidence and return to or increase meaningful activities in day-to-day life.
We are proud sponsors of this event that unites the City of London to show their support for members of her Majesty’s Armed Forces and Veterans. More information on the lunch can be found here
